All Lives United (ALU) provides educational and recreational programs for students throughout the school year, as well as during the summer months. We believe our program plays a constant and integral role in the academic growth, as well as personal and cultural development of hundreds of students. We strive on having a profoundly positive impact on the outcomes of their lives, and enabling a productive transition from adolescence to early adulthood.
ALU’s after school and summer camp programs provide fun and stable environments for students where – through the use of sports, arts, educational instruction, and diverse social interactions – participants can engage in various activities that stimulate and encourage personal development, academic achievement, cultural diversity, leadership, teamwork, creative thinking, positive attitude, and healthy living habits. Most importantly the students will have fun while learning.
PJ Matthews-Co-Owner
PJ grew up in Baltimore City. He has always had a passion for helping our youth. He spends countless hours volunteering and working with the community. He coaches youth basketball and football. PJ has been working in the school system for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a Masters degree in Physical Education. He is a father of 3 children and loves spending time with his family and friends. He is a huge sports fan! He loves watching and playing sports. He makes sure that he makes a connection with every child he meets. He strives to be a role model each and every day!
Andrea Moore-Co-Owner
Andrea has been in the school system for over 13 years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in education and a Masters degree in Human Resources. She loves working with children and enjoys seeing them grow. Andrea plays a major role in her community and volunteers at local women and children’s shelters. Andrea is a mother to one baby girl and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her free time she enjoys traveling and is a huge Disney fan!
PJ and Andrea came together to create a quality program at an affordable price for families in Baltimore City. They strive to make the program a staple in the city. Each year they work to improve the program to ensure each child can participate in a program that will be fun and enriching!
